Join Creative Europe Desk UK-Scotland for an information seminar on Creative Europe's funding and opportunities, followed by an optional interactive session with the opportunity to explore potential project ideas in more depth.
PART 1: Culture information seminar, 11am - 1.30pm
Find out more about Creative Europe's funding and opportunities for the cultural, creative and heritage sectors.
Creative Europe Desk UK - Scotland invites arts, creative and heritage organisations to find out more about the funding opportunities available as part of Creative Europe's Culture sub-programme,which supports organisations operating across the cultural and creative sectors to take part in long-term transnational collaboration. Funding is available for Cooperation Projects, European Platforms, European Networks and Literary Translation.
Kate Deans, Creative Europe Desk UK - Scotland, presents the four funding opportunities, eligibility conditions and how to develop a strong project and application.
Kate will be joined by a speaker from an arts, cultural or heritage organisation with experience in managing EU funded projects, to be announced nearer the date of the event.
Tea, coffee and a light lunch are provided, and there is the opportunity for networking with fellow attendees during the lunch break.
PART 2: (Optional) Project development session, 1.30pm - 3pm
This optional additional interactive session will provide the chance to:
Begin to explore Creative Europe's priorities of Mobility, Audience Development and Capacity Building, and where they overlap with your existing programme and activities
Discuss how to find European partners, map out existing partnerships, and how best to deepen and develop long term transnational collaboration
Identify and evaluate current resources, networks and organisational strengths, and discuss desired outcomes, impact and legacy of a project
As this second part is an interactive session, you will need to confirm your place for this separately. In order to confirm your place for this session, please email Kate Deans.
This event is free and open to organisations in the creative and cultural sectors. If you have registered and are unable to attend, please let us know in advance so that we can reallocate your ticket.
