Creative Exchange, Employability
Thu 9 March 2017, 16:30 – 18:30 GMT
Aimed at creative educators of all subjects, in nursery, primary and secondary school settings.
How do we nourish and develop every child’s innate creativity?
The 4th edition of How Good Is Our School outlines the importance of creativity skills to our future lives, local, national and global economies. It describes the need for children and young people to take ownership of their own learning and thinking, to explore and challenge assumptions, in order to succeed in the future work place.
Delivered in partnership with Arts & Creative Learning, City of Edinburgh Council, these sessions are an opportunity for you to hear how other educators are nurturing creativity skills and to contribute your own ideas. Following a short presentation to inspire and provoke, you are invited to join a small group, present an idea/ activity, or raise a question for discussion, on the theme of how to develop the creativity skills of learners. This session focuses on Employability.
