With Tracey as their tutor and host they will be immersed in the extraordinary medium of fused glass ,whilst creating their own bespoke, quality artworks over a series of three weeks.

This workshop series has been specifically designed for young people aged 13 - 16 years, who have a particular interest in arts and crafts.

Prior experience is not necessary as Tracey will safely guide her participants through the entire process.

Over three sessions each participant will design and create a number of specific projects which they take home to use, admire or give as gifts.

    • Week 1: Design and create a framed fused glass landscape
    • Week 2: Design and make a set of four table top coasters

How to work with glass frit, glass stringers , glass confetti and sheet glass. How to prepare the kiln bed and shelves. How to set a basic firing schedule on the kiln. How to safely use hand tools such as pliers, cutters, grinders and etching equipment.

All materials, glass equipment and safety equipment will be provided.

Each session will last 3 hours with a 10-15min break in between with refreshments.
