An introduction to hand stitching and creative collage with textile artist Jane Charles

Acitivty packs with all necessary materials can be safely collected locally from Broughton Rectory, London Rd, MK10 9AA (2nd to last house on the left after the red phone box). They will be ready for collection at 10am the day before each session.

You will need small sharp scissors.

Week 1 - Wednesday 27 January at 2pm

Simple collage with felt applique

Jane is a local textile artist with a wealth of experience in teaching and inspiring people of all ages. She has made a number of large collaborative quilts in the community and primary schools around Milton Keynes.

Using a variety of materials you will learn how to cut and collage a colourful piece of textile art and make a small felt brooch.
