Creative Industries Clusters Programme

The Creative Industries Clusters Programme starting in 2018, will invest £80m+ in eight new creative research & development partnerships bringing together the UK’s renowned creative industries with arts and humanities led research from our world-leading university sector.


About this Briefing Event

This event will provide information on the practical detail of prospective Creative R&D Partnerships including expectations of management arrangements and the resources required to support a successful Creative R&D Partnership.

As well as receiving information from the Creative Industries Clusters Programme team with a full Q&A session, attendees will have the opportunity to attend workshops on topics:

  • Programme Design
  • Creating and Maintaining Partnerships
  • Governance and Evaluation

Important note on workshops: Each delegate will only be able to attend one workshop, they will run simultaneously. Please bring additional colleagues to attend the other workshops (to a max of 5 per organisation).


Who should attend?

Prospective applicants from potential Creative R&D clusters who will be involved in writing the application for the programme, including:

  • Principal Investigators
  • Research Development Professionals & Practitioners

and staff involved in:

  • Business Development
  • Technology Transfer
  • Knowledge Exchange

Important note on attendance: In order to allow for the widest participation, attendance may be limited to a maximum of five delegates per research organisation, depending on capacity. In this instance, the team will be in touch to ask for organisations to prioritise which 5 delegates will attend.

  • Quiz the AHRC team on the details of the CICP programme, objectives, funding and applicaton process

In addition to these bid-writing workshops, a more general briefing session is planned in the morning at each location.
