Event description

Description

A creative space in which to explore ideas around how to use a journal to uniquely document thoughts in relation to yourself and well-being, people and place, journeys, life experiences and events. The format is relaxed, experimental, informative and fun. The aim is to combine elements of writing, drawing, painting, poetry, stitch and collage.

Be inspired to respond to where you are now, memories and/or future plans, map daily life events, journeys, or dreams. Explore new ways of working, musing and reflecting on creative projects and possibilities. Experience collective and individual journaling, working outside/inside, using diverse range of mixed media and methods, including inks and mark making media, drawing/writing, lists, textiles/stitch, collaging curious collections of found and made objects and ephemera. Create your own unique journal pages; outcomes can be therapeutic, private or public, or developed as a means of taking your ideas out into other areas of your life, and/or onto social media platforms.
