This workshop series is for university-level students. Attendees may book onto single or multiple dates.
What is it about?
These morning sessions offer you the opportunity to investigate lifelong wellbeing in-depth in a museum setting. The sessions will be about exploring different museum collections and environments through handling, viewing and responding, with focus on your own creative interpretation and thoughts and feelings that arise in response to ideas around what lifelong wellbeing means to you. There will be a broad range of art materials provided to have a creative opportunity to respond to the space, museum collections and working together, facilitated by an experienced Art Psychotherapist.
The sessions are part of the Festival of Social Sciences 2023, taking place between Saturday 21 October and Friday 17 November. This year, the festival will focus on lifelong wellbeing, exploring mental and physical health at all ages and celebrating the 75th anniversary of the NHS.
