About this event

Join us for a beautifully calming and inclusive creative workshop, part of Art of Community, funded by The Robin Estill Fund.

The Creative Nurture Wellbeing project will run until the end of July 2026, offering free weekly craft workshops providing hands-on creative activities and an opportunity to build social connections. Sessions are designed to support those who may be feeling isolated, lacking in confidence or looking for a creative outlet to improve their mental well-being.

We have an inspiring range of crafts to try throughout the year, led by our experienced workshop facilitators. Let us help you discover the positive mental health benefits of slowing down, taking time out, and exploring your creativity as we use recycled materials and items sourced from nature to make something beautiful.

These sessions are held in a low-stimulus, calm, and relaxed environment, and have been thoughtfully designed to reduce overwhelm and encourage gentle engagement. We welcome those with sensory sensitivities and neurodiversity needs.

From creating textured collages, botanical printing, seasonal wreaths, and garden-inspired crafts, participants are supported to enjoy the process at their own pace.

This is more than just art — it’s about connection, mindfulness, and creativity in a space that feels safe, welcoming, and accessible to all.
