About this event

Sports & Fitness • Track & Field

Join us for an inspiring evening with Alexander Tofalides, the first-ever fencer to represent Cyprus at the Olympic Games, as part of the Creative Pathways series organised by the Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission in the UK, in collaboration with NEPOMAK UK.

This live conversation explores Alexander’s two-decade journey — from early promise and obstacles to resilience and Olympic achievement — and touches on key themes such as performance under pressure, identity, and mental focus. His story offers powerful insights into how persistence and vision can lead to extraordinary outcomes.

The event coincides with the release of Alexander’s new book Fighting For Your Dream, which expands on many of the themes explored during the discussion.

A drinks reception will follow the Q&A.
