Event description

Description

Blank Canvas is a new peer support project which aims to support mums who are struggling with their mental health either during pregnancy or after the birth of their baby. Running over a ten week block, participants will have the opportunity to create a personal creative journal, learning new skills and sharing experiences.

The project runs in collaboration with Maternal Mental Health Scotland, and is facilitated by women with lived experience of perinatal mental health difficulties. The group is free to access, but places are limited and so must be booked in advance. We would kindly ask that only people who can commit to attending the 10 week block actually sign up. The workshops are aimed at Mums with mild-moderate mental health concerns, whether that be anxiety or depression. Ideally, participants should sign up during pregnancy or within the first 2 years of having had a baby.
