Creative Photography - Expect The Unexpected - Presented By Lynne Morris
Sat 28 May 2016, 15:30 – 16:30 BST
Creative photographer specialising in surreal and manipulated imagery, using my own portfolio I craft my images to produce altered reality based photography. My abstract work often begins life as ‘a fleeting thought in time’ often based on a ‘seed of humour’. I like my work to ‘grow’ organically, gradually allowing it to shape and form, as I explore the humour and impact it evokes.
Having worked extensively as a graphic designer in North Wales for over 20 years, it wasn’t until 2012 I decided to pursue my love of photography. I joined the local camera clubs and very soon became the proud owner of my first DSLR camera. In April 2013 I started entering National and International competitions, having my first acceptance into the London Salon of Photography (May 2013).
With continued success in National and International Exhibitions, including a ‘Commended’ in The Sony World Photographic Awards, in which over 750,000 people entered the same category, I have great pleasure in sharing my images with you all.
I will talk about:
• How my initial ideas start
• Where do the ideas come from?
• How to shoot for composite images
• My work flow, tips and techniques
• Demonstrating the construction of an image from start to finish
• Questions and answers
