About this event
With 1.4 trillion digital images taken every year, photography is our international language - but do we know how to speak it?
Exclusive for schools - teachers, we invite you to register your year 6 to year 13 classrooms now to meet Show and Tell’s super star speaker; diversity and inclusion consultant and Time to Change champion, Sanisha Wynter.
Talking with Daniel Regan, our artistic director for mental health, together they will explore the modern superpowers of the image and how young people can harness those powers for good.
Discussions will include...
- The lack of representation: how do we feel if we can't see ourselves in the world.
- Feeling and embracing difference: the importance of self love and being able to be your authentic self.
- Why vulnerability is your superpower: facing mental health challenges and breaking down community taboos through social media and conversation.
- Photography task: Who am I? Helping young people take better control of their image by expressing their core values through photography.
- Q&A: questions can be posted/asked during the event, or sent in advance to info@showandtellphoto.com and can be anonymous on request.
