Your 5-Week Creative Support Group: Reframing Menopause Through Art & Connection

Join me for a nurturing 5-week journey designed to help you explore and reframe menopause as a powerful initiation into wisdom.

Through guided art-making, reflective practices, and meaningful discussion, you’ll have space to express yourself freely, connect with others, and gain tools for self-care during peri- and menopause.

Each week, we’ll explore a theme that resonates with the natural changes you’re experiencing. You’ll have time to be with your thoughts and feelings in a safe, supportive environment—acknowledging and honouring them without judgment.

This isn’t a medical approach to menopause, but a creative and empowering space to rewrite your story, deepen your self-understanding, and feel truly heard. If you’re in need of some “you time” and a place where you can be listened to and supported, this group is for you.

WHO IS THE CREATIVE REPONSES TO MENOPAUSE FOR?

  • This group is for women who are perimenopausal or menopausal, and who want to find their voice and express experiences that may feel isolating, challenging, or uncomfortable.
  • It is for women seeking an alternative outlet and a nourishing, supportive community.
  • It is for women who are not satisfied with a purely medical approach to understanding menopause, and who wish to honour and nourish their soul and spirit.
  • It’s for women who like the idea of play, and art making, who enjoy images and story, and who want to explore creative ways of expressing themselves.

What to expect:

  • Weekly themed sessions - based on the book Wise Power - The Great Awakener by Alexandra Pope and Sjanie Hugo Wuritzer ( Founders of Red School)
  • Guided practices & art-making in response to themes of Betrayal, Repair, Revelation, Visioning and Emergence.
  • Gentle exploration of your peri/menopause journey in response to ideas of being in the unknown, boundaries, rest and receiving, discovering your pace and connecting to a deeper sense of self.
  • The benefit of being in a warm, supportive community, to learn together, and grow together.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be good at art?

No Experience Needed. You don’t need to have ever made art or be “good” at it to join this group; art materials are simply tools for non-verbal expression: a way to let things out through colour, texture, brush strokes, clay, pencil marks etc. The art you make here is for expression & reflection.

Can I attend one week only?

This is not a drop-in group. The course is designed as a cohesive 5-week journey, with each session building on the last. Together, we’ll move through five thoughtfully chosen themes that deepen your psycho-spiritual understanding of menopause. This continuity helps the group flow & fosters trust.

Do I have to pay anything additional for the art materilas, refreshments and cacao?

The price is for your all inclusive, with two offerings of delicious nourishing cacao, art materials and other refreshments.

Why do I have to pay for each weekly session separately if its a course?

Eventbrite’s ticketing system lists each week separately, but this is a full 5-week course & is not available as individual drop-ins. To secure your place, please book and pay for all five weeks when you register. The total cost for the course is £120 (£25 per week, listed separately for booking)
