Description

Creative Stirling will be hosting a Creative Robotics workshop as part of Metafest 2020. The session will allow its young attendants to learn about digital robotics, relative hardware and technologies. This will be run by a group of young people with experience in digital robotics, with support from experienced mentors.

At this session, you will be shown how to build, code and programme a Kitronik :MOVE mini buggy kit as a fun introduction to the creative world of robotics.

“The :MOVE mini is a 2 wheeled robot that is suitable for autonomous operation, remote control projects via a Bluetooth application or being controlled using a second BBC micro:bit as a controller via the microbits radio functionality.”

You will be set the challenge to build the :MOVE mini and learn how to set a course for the robot to traverse . This can be done either by using your phone to control the buggy or you can programme a set path for the robot to move around.

This session is FREE and suitable for young people (teenagers) 12 and above. Come along, learn about the amazing world of robotics and have fun!
