Unpaid carers are invited to join textile artist Lucy Goffin and Care for the Carers artist in residence Alison Cotton for a relaxing and creative afternoon together, inspired by sensations of the sea and the colourful geological map of our area.
No sewing experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm! Materials, lunch and refreshments provided. Wear comfortable clothes and footwear for a short walk on the seafront prior to the workshop.
This event is free, thanks to our funders, the Jackson Trust.
We are able to provide assistance to carers with travel or parking expenses to this event so please be in touch if you would like to claim this.
Meet in the Splash Point Café, next to the Redoubt Fortress, at 11.30am. We will then take a gentle walk to gather inspiration before moving into a light, spacious studio with stunning sea views at the Natural Fitness Centre, Eastbourne BN22 7AQ, finishing at 4.30pm.
