Photography and film can be important tools for charities and community groups; they can help tell a story about our work, demonstrate our impact, and help our audiences to connect with us.
Join us for this in-person opportunity to explore how we can use photography, video and audio recording to create meaningful stories and convey important messages.
About the session
During this training, we will explore the creative potential of lens-based and digital media in a practical, hands-on way. We will consider composition and lighting, the importance of storyboarding and planning, and look at effective methods for editing photographs, video and audio using freely available open-source software.
About the trainer
Your trainer for this session will be Somerset-based artist Richard Tomlinson, a specialist in photography, film, and digital media, and founder of Original Light.
