Event Information
About this Event
Come join Clapham Park Creative Co-op & neighbours in free creative workshops either online or in person at the Clapham Park Cube (depending on current Government Guidelines).
Every last Saturday of the month we will be getting together with Clapham Park neighbours learn new creative skills, have a natter and be around people producing something wonderful together. Each month we will be working on PHOTO-EMBROIDERY // Hand-embroidering photographs of the buildings in Clapham Park Estate. Face-to-face workshop hosted at the Clapham Park Cube. A collaborative 'artwork' that tells a story about Clapham Park, exploring home, history and community, to be exhibited as part of a community exhibition in Spring 2021.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE_ Everyone is welcome! Please note you may need some art supplies to join in:
- Clapham Park area neighbours can pick up most of the workshop materials for FREE at the Clapham Park Cube. We will be in touch to arrange.
- If you are joining us from elsewhere, we will be sharing a list of what you need so you can order the supplies in time for the workshop. We try to ensure that these costs are kept very low, using household supplies where possible.
