The event will be followed by networking drinks and opportunities to meet leading creative technology industry representatives, businesses, trade bodies and creative technology R&D and innovation programmes.

About the Costar Network

CoSTAR is a £75.6 million national research and development network of laboratories that are developing new technology to maintain the UK’s world-leading position in games, film, TV, performance and digital entertainment. Delivered by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Arts and Humanities Research Council, the programme is supporting new innovations and experiences that will enrich UK’s creative industries, economy, and culture.

About the CoSTAR Foresight Lab

The CoSTAR Foresight Lab, part of the wider CoSTAR Network, is leading a programme of research to assess the adoption, use and impact of new, emergent and convergent technologies across the creative industries, including gaming, TV, film, performance and digital entertainment. Our findings will inform research, development and innovation across the sector. The Foresight Lab is a partnership comprising Goldsmiths University of London, Loughborough University, Edinburgh University and the BFI, alongside partners from ARUP, Data Thistle, Julie’s Bicycle, the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC), i2 Media Research, Olsberg SPI and Station 12.
