About this Event
Workshop information
Digital technology is a highly creative resource that enables pupils to explore the curriculum in diverse and engaging ways. It is an excellent medium for developing oracy, visual literacy, group working and other creative skills. It is also an effective tool for learning intervention, for example where low literacy skills are a barrier to demonstrating understanding.
Recent developments in technology mean that the cost of digital resources has plummeted. Schools can now use existing IT to create digital media suites at zero or minimal cost.
This session will demonstrate the best free media software for computers, iPads and tablets; the best value add ons such as microphones and then together we will explore ways to bring media into your schools' curriculum.
