Creative Voice & Influence Group
Welcome to the Creative Voice & Influence Group!
Join us at Voluntary Action Rotherham for an exciting in-person gathering where autistic individuals can come together to share their voices and make an impact.
In this session we'll be focusing on expressing lived experiences using creative writing and collage.
We will use creative writing to create poetry around emotions and alexithymia and create collages based on being heard and understood by services in Rotherham(this could be a positive or negative experience). These themes are flexible and we encourage you to create what feels ok for you.
Supplies for writing and collaging will be provided however if you'd prefer to work digitally please bring along your device.
The long term goal of the Creative Voice project is to hold an art exhibition at the Eric Manns Building when it is open to the public however no date it set for this.
Your voice will be used to influence and shape the delivery plan for the All Age Autism Strategy in Rotherham.
The strategy priorities include:
Mental health
Information & Advice
Diagnostic Process
Education
Physical Health
