About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Hiking

Join artist Alisa Ruzavina for a guided walk through Walthamstow Marshes and Wetlands, exploring urban ecology through creative practices, storytelling and playful observation. Discover new connections between human history, our bodies and local wildlife.

Step into an imaginative exploration of Walthamstow's wild spaces with Earthkinology Studio on this unique walking tour that reveals the marshes through a creative lens. Investigate how the industrial and wild histories intertwine throughout this unique for London site.

Starting on the edges of Argall Industrial Area, we'll wander through the grassland and wetland landscapes, pausing to share stories of human and non-human residents, notice the beautiful collisions between wildness and urban design, and explore what ecological kinship might look like in our city.

You'll leave with fresh perspectives on local ecology, a deeper connection to urban wildlife, and playful ideas for coexisting with our non-human neighbours.
