Creative ways of working with bereaved children (3-hour online)
Event Information
About this event
This 3-hour interactive online workshop will explore creative ways of helping children express themselves and communicate when someone important in their life is dying, or has died. This workshop will look at online activities which can be used, all of which are underpinned by theoretical approaches and research about what works well.
There is a prerequisite that all attendees have attended a Child Bereavement UK training session within the last 12 months as there is an expectation that all attendees are familiar with some theoretical approaches relating to grief and bereavement.
Delegates will be participating in some practical activities during the webinar and are asked to bring the following items with them to the session:
Small clean jar such as a jam jar, table salt (enough to fill the jar plus a bit more), spoons and paper plates or (news)paper, coloured chalks, paper , coloured pens and a selection of buttons/stickers or shiny shapes.
