About this event

It can be difficult to talk to young people about grief and loss, particularly when people close to them are dying or have died. We provide you with practical ideas on using creative ways to communicate with young people, allowing them to be more open about their feelings in a supportive environment.

There is a prerequisite that all attendees have attended a Child Bereavement UK training session within the last 12 months as there is an expectation that all attendees are familiar with some theoretical approaches relating to grief and bereavement.

Delegates will be participating in some practical activities during the webinar and are asked to bring the following items with them to the session:

Small clean jar such as a jam jar, table salt (enough to fill the jar plus a bit more), spoons and paper plates or (news)paper, coloured chalks, paper , coloured pens and a selection of buttons/stickers or shiny shapes.
