How To Make Awesome Comics with Mega Robo Bros creator Neill Cameron
Neill Cameron is a comics whizz, creator of the Mega Robo Bros, Pirates of Pangaea (with Daniel Hartwell) and Tamsin and the Deep (with Kate Brown) series for The Phoenix Comic and the How To Make Awesome Comics book. In this workshop he will use his latest Mega Robo Bros book – about two squabbling robot siblings living in a London of the future – as a launch-pad for a workshop that will encourage children to let their imagination run at its wildest as he draws their suggestions, explains how he draws his own characters and helps them create their own strips.
"This is a wonderful comic series, jam-packed with energy, invention, humour and love. SF has rarely been this fun and sibling rivalry has rarely involved this many jetpacks or existential penguins. Just brilliant, from start to finish." - Man of Words on Mega Robo Bros Vol. 1
AGE: 7-13 yrs
The session will run from 13.30 - 14.30 and will be followed by a book signing. Places are limited to 35 participants. All children are required to have purchased a ticket under the General Admissions category and should be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults attend for free.
