Sunday 17th August, Creative Workshop: "Parts of Us"

Join us for an afternoon creating reflective and playful art in nature, exploring memories within a group setting.

1:00-1:15pm Meeting in Hyde Park, nearest station is Queensway and Bayswater (exact coordinates will be shared via confirmation email) + Group Introductions

1:15-2:00pm Creating a hand-drawn A2 piece referencing personal photos of our family, culture, and childhood memories.

꩜ Guided meditation + writing a letter or a poem of release/gratitude/wisdom dedicated to your inner parts/ a loved one.

2:00-2:30pm Sharing our visual artwork and stories in community + Closing Circle

꩜ Certificate ceremony to end for some LessonWise students on the completion of their online 6 Week Tagalog Course this summer. We encourage non-students to also spare a moment to celebrate this group's beautiful journey on embodying their own personal and cultural parts.

꩜ All art materials are provided for and you do not need any prior experience to join. There will also be complimentary chocolate chip cookies! (contains dairy, eggs, gluten.)

Please bring your family photos with you as drawing inspiration, whether these are hard copies or from your phone. Including a picnic rug to sit on and a bottle of water.

@goddessbuwan Ainara is a Filipina painter, art tutor, and creative workshop facilitator in London. She studied Animation and has always been drawn to documenting the world around us through drawing and writing. She believes that art is meant to be playful, expressive, and healing, and we are all born into this world as artists. Combining her creative gifts with ancestral healing, Ainara's mission is to promote art practises as a tool to connect with ourselves in communion with others.
