Creative Workshop: Putting Your Ideas Interests And Passions First
Overview
Join me for a two-hour online session designed for anyone who feels stuck, restless, or unsure where to begin with their creative ideas.
What are creative ideas? We all have them ! It can be a big mission such as writing a book or redoing your entire house, or a smaller task like learning how to do gardening or how to play the piano.
We will explore together simple practices that quiet self-doubt, make space for curiosity, and help you reconnect with the part of you that actually wants to create.
Through hands-on exercises, short reflections, and tools drawn from The Artist’s Way, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Amazon’s innovation mechanisms, we will:
- Look at what gets in the way of your creativity and experiment with ways to loosen its grip.
- Notice what genuinely excites you and how to give it more room in your life.
- Reframe fear and hesitation so they become signals, not barriers.
- Play with idea-generation techniques (like Crazy 8s and simple brainstorming) to spark new directions.
- Explore small, realistic habits that help you keep a creative rhythm.
- Bring shape to a project or intention you want to start, beginning with your personal “why.”
- Connect with others in a supportive space where you can share as much or as little as you like.
You’ll leave with a few fresh ideas, a clearer sense of direction, and a set of tools you can return to whether creativity is a hobby, a passion you’re rediscovering, or part of a bigger life shift.
