This training will give our volunteers the skills to support an external Creative Workshops in schools, libraries or parks. We need a pool of enthusiastic volunteers to draw from to help run these events. The training will include a range of skills from craft activities to working with people with different needs. We will also provide DBS checks if required.
The training will take place at our base at the Moony Club in the Longton Exchange.
The venue is step-free and wheelchair accessible. Toilets are gender-neutral but located up two flights of stairs, which may be difficult for those with accessibility needs. The nearest accessible toilet is at Tesco Extra, a five-minute walk away.Longton Train Station is less than a 5-minute walk from the venue. There are multiple bus stops along The Strand, with services to and from Newcastle and Hanley.
