Elite Publishing is hosting a writing competition for anybody under the age of 14.

Entry Fee: £2.50 per story/poem
Entry Closing date: 29th November 2017 at 5pm
Topic: "Being a child is better/worse than being an adult (Your interpretation of the topic is up to you and you can choose to write about either or both
Prize: 2 Free copies of the book in which your work is published +£10 Amazon Gift Voucher

Rules
You must be 14 or younger on the entry closing day (29th November 2017).
Entries must be in provided in English
Entries must be submitted electronically and be accompanied by the entry form and payment,
Entries must be typed in Arial 11, one and a half spaced and on A4 on a Word document.
Payment must be made via the above link or PayPal
Entry to this competition assumes permission to have your child's work printed/showcased on our page or in any of our publications. Your child will always be credited as the original author of the work.
Poems - 500 word limit
Prose/Sort story - 1000 word limit
No limit to the number of entries.

Feel free to accompany your submissions with separate illustrations if you wish. Please send those through in high resolution .jpg or .png files.

The top 25 entries will be published in a book

50% of the funds raised will be donated to My Choice Charity who supports domestic abuse child victims through provision of trauma and other therapy.

Payments can also be made via PayPal to avoid paying extra ticket fees.
