Creative Writing for Trans and Nonbinary People

Creative Writing for Trans and Nonbinary People

By LGBT Health and Wellbeing

Overview

Creative writing workshop with Chris (he/him)

We'll be joined by trans writer Chris (he/him) who will lead us through some exercises to get pen to paper (or pixel to screen).

This event is for trans and nonbinary folks of any level - whether you've never done creative writing before or you're no stranger to prose. Maybe you'll take home the beginnings of a new story, or feel lighter for getting some thoughts down on paper.

About: Chris has a master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Strathclyde. He writes a little bit of everything, including screenplays, fiction, zines, and autobiography. When he’s not writing, you can find him baking or reading! You can find Chris on Instagram @ctscripts

Exact venue details will be given by email, nearer to the event, to those who have signed up/registered. The details shown on the event page are just a placeholder for the City Centre.

Please note this event is for trans and nonbinary people only. Please do not book unless you are trans/nonbinary.

Who we welcome

We welcome all trans and nonbinary folks over 16, as well as people with a trans history or are exploring their gender. Anyone living in or travelling to Glasgow can join.
