About this event

Community • Heritage

A space to relax, write and share honestly with others at the same stage of parenthood. You’ll be guided in simple exercises by new mum, writer and facilitator Beth Godfrey, taking inspiration from texts on motherhood. No experience necessary.

For mothers with children aged 12 months or younger. Babies are welcome but the focus of this group is you.

Spaces are limited. Please let us know if you can no longer attend.

About the workshop leader

Beth Godfrey is a writer and facilitator whose work has focussed on women's spaces over the last eight years. Whether running writing groups for women, leading engagement for a feminist theatre company, hosting a drop in for women, or teaching groups of female mentors she holds spaces that are inclusive, honest, tender and ultimately joyful. The heart of her work is about relating, helping people connect deeply with themselves and others. She uses creativity, particularly poetry, to bridge life experiences, and connect to our common humanity.
