FREE* Creative Writing Classes for Poetry Writing.
Using a fun, practical approach, you’ll examine poetic forms, techniques, and your own creative voice in an encouraging, hands-on environment throughout this four-week course.
We cover poetic concepts and forms, including abstract poetry, using voices, narrative poetry, satirical poetry, ode writing, Japanese poetry and sonnets.
This poetry module invites adult learners of all levels to explore the art of expression through verse.
All classes are on Thursdays from 6pm - 8pm
2nd Oct, 9th Oct, 16th Oct and 23rd Oct
There is no formal assessment; however, learners will create their own Writer’s Journal, which acts as a portfolio of their work. It is a personal preference whether the journal is electronic or not; therefore, all learners must come to class equipped with either a laptop or pen and paper.
FREE* - This course is free to anyone who earns less than £30,491 per year. We ask that if you have the means to pay, you may make a contribution towards the course of £20 per person. This can be paid in centre but is not mandatory.
