Event description
Writing workshop to unleash your creativity and let your imagination roam free.

About this Event

During the lockdown, I'm taking my writing workshops online. This is a place to escape the pressures of our current lives. We'll carve out a time for you, a time to allow your imagination to roam free.

When we met in the real world, I ran a few Looking at Story workshops which were popular and led to some really interesting pieces of work. So in this workshop, we will look at a contemporary story written by a short story writer.  We will examine the techniques, the themes and the form the writer has used.  Participants will then write their own work inspired by the story we have read together – the majority of the workshop time will be spent on your writing.

The workshop will run for two and a half hours. We will meet online on Zoom. Details of the zoom meeting will be sent to you prior to the workshop.

About the workshops:

Clare Reddaway runs monthly writing workshops at her home in central Bath - and now in a very modern way, online most weeks. All of the workshops aim to be supportive and encouraging to writers of prose, particularly short stories, at all levels. Clare provides exercises which are stimulating and inspiring (hopefully!) in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Tickets are refundable 7 days before the event. You are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.
