Event description
Writing workshop to unleash your creativity and let your imagination roam free.

About this Event

During the lockdown, I'm taking my writing workshops online. This is a place to escape the pressures of our current lives. We'll carve out a time for you, a time to allow your imagination to roam free.

Summertime...when the living is easy. Is it? Do the fish jump in your summertime? Or is it an anxious, hot and insecty kind of a place? You might wish to revisit childhood summers, create summers for the future, or dig deep into the summer of now. Bring a sun hat and a lolly, and let the inspiration flow!

The workshop will run for two and a half hours. We will meet online on Zoom. Details of the zoom meeting will be sent to you prior to the workshop.

About the workshops:

Clare Reddaway runs monthly writing workshops at her home in central Bath - and now in a very modern way, online most weeks. All of the workshops aim to be supportive and encouraging to writers of prose, particularly short stories, at all levels. Clare provides exercises which are stimulating and inspiring (hopefully!) in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Tickets are refundable 7 days before the event. You are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.

"Loved it - loved it all!"

Clare's credentials:

Clare has run writing workshops for many years: at festivals and arts centres with Bristol short story collective Heads and Tales, for Julian House homeless charity in Bath, for the Refugee Centre in Bristol, for the University of the Third Age in Bath. She currently runs regular workshops at her home in Bath and at Clifton Library in Bristol. Her background as a script editor for the BBC and Granada TV and her MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa gives her experience of working with a wide range of writers.
