In this workshop Emma Beynon will read aloud a carefully selected choice of poetry for all participants to respond to and enjoy. There will be no wrong or right answer as everyone experiences poetry in their own way. It will be a chance to share feelings, thoughts and memories inspired by the poems. This workshop will encourage participants to reflect upon and mindfully explore the poems together. You will be invited to contribute as little or as much as you want.
The Workshop facilitator will create a safe and supportive online space as well as introducing participants to the skills and satisfaction of understanding poetry: enjoying the detail of the words and the poem’s attention to the moment. This workshop will celebrate our lives through the positive pleasure of connecting with others to poetry.
