Event description

Description

Looking for ways to be creative with your health?

A bit lost or overwhelmed with all the information out there?

Look no further – this event brings you all the best of local health and well-being in Glasgow!

You can take part in the three informal workshops, focusing on Mindfulness, Movement, and Arts & Crafts, or speak to numerous ladies who will have stalls at the event who are experts in their field giving you advice and information on the various alternative therapies out there!

From mindfulness, to nutrition, and a range of alternative therapies, this event covers so much; with lovely, friendly and approachable ladies to speak to about health and wellness!

This event is by Kay Young and Knows No Bounds, who’s aim is to bring like-minded people together within communities to learn how to improve their health and well-being in a fun, informal, and creative way.

FAQs

Why is this event free? (other than booking free)

This workshop is part of the Knows No Bounds social enterprise initiative and runs on a Pay It Forward System.

That means:

  • Your place has been paid for by someone who’s taking part in a previous workshop
  • To book your place, all you need to pay is a small booking fee
  • There’s an opportunity for you to donate money on the day in cash into a donation box
  • This is to ‘pay it forward’ to someone else - give them the opportunity to take part in future
  • This will allow the event to go to other areas and spread this further and wider
  • The amount is up to you – please pay what you can, and what you are able to.
  • A recommended amount is £15.00, but for guidance only
  • For more info on Knows No Bounds, please visit - https://www.kay-young.co.uk/community-projects

Is there a minimum age requirement for the event?

The event is aimed at adults, but that's not to say that kids aren't welcome. As long anyone under the age of 16 years is accompanied by an adult at all times, and is happy to sit through the various workshops.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Other than something to eat to keep you going throughout the event, everything else is provided :)
