Thursday 1st October - 4pm - 5:15pm
In the second webinar in our series, Dominic and Pawel will talk you through what it’s like to be a graphic designer in the fast-paced agency environment. Aiming to bridge the knowledge gap between education and industry they’ll focus on what a typical project workflow looks like, how to work with a client effectively and how to stay creative in the commercial environment. They’ll hand out tips for building your portfolio proactively and how to get your foot in the door at a creative agency. There will of course be an opportunity to submit questions to the Q&A session at the end as well.
Dominic is the Lead Creative at Rock Kitchen Harris and with over 10 years experience within the industry has worked on national advertising campaigns for clients such as Taylor Wimpey, Vision Express and Topps Tiles. As a graphic and multimedia designer with 8 years industry experience, Pawel has worked on projects for The Postal Museum in London, Marks & Spencer, Boots and Bosch.
Rock Kitchen Harris is one of the region's most established and respected full-service agencies. Over the coming week’s we’ll be hosting webinars from staff members who will talk you through their roles at the agency, the skills set needed to be successful, the tools they use, and of course how to get your foot in the door of a very rewarding career.
