Creativity and Inclusion, no. 2
Event Information
About this Event
Join us for a Creativity and Inclusion open conversation workshop, where we will share experiences of inclusive participation in the arts, and the successes and challenges faced.
This is the second event in a series, and the focus will be around creative approaches to inclusion when programming. For this event we are excited to be partnering with Walworth Living Room and F.A.T. Studio. The latter part of the afternoon will involve a hands-on workshop, run in collaboration with Hot Meal on the Way Home initiative, which serves vegan food to the local community.
The workshop is for anyone involved in arts and culture across London, so we can support and inspire each other, share knowledge and grow connections. Whether you have attended a previous Creativity and Inclusion workshop, whether you have heaps of experience with inclusion programming or if accessibility is something you’d like to feel more confident about, we’d love to have you along to be part of the conversation. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
The workshop is FREE to attend and is organised by Voluntary Arts as part of a networking series in the lead up to the Get Creative Festival (9–17 May 2020).
WHEN: Tuesday 19 October 2019, 2:00pm - 4:30pm (with a chance for networking at the end)
WHERE: Walworth Living Room, Surrey Square, London, SE17 2JU
Accessibility: Walworth Living Room is wheelchair accessible and has a disabled toilet. If you have specific requirements please do get in touch so we can accommodate you as necessary.
