This free 5-week programme is designed for mothers and birthing people from ethnically diverse communities with babies aged 0-12 months. No artistic experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to explore creativity! Throughout the sessions, we’ll engage in fun and creative activities such as scrapbooking, journaling, drawing, and storytelling. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with other mums, share your experiences, and explore ways to navigate motherhood with confidence and calm.
What You Can Expect:✔ A supportive community where you can share and connect✔ Creative activities to help express your thoughts and emotions✔ Empowering discussions on motherhood, cultural identity, and self-care✔ Resilience-building techniques for the perinatal period✔ Peer support to help normalise and destigmatise parental anxiety
Our Diversity Matters groups aim is to provide a voice and support for mums from diverse communities, bringing women together to talk about the complexities related to their culture, upbringing and heritage whilst balancing the challenges that come with the first year of motherhood.
These groups are informal, relaxed and baby-friendly (up to 12 months of age). Bookings are essential due to limited spaces (and so we know how many biscuits to bring). Come connect with other mums in a warm, welcoming space.
