Learn about the fascinating world of nocturnal wildlife in Haughton Country Park. To attract moths we will set up light and sugar traps (which don’t harm them) and while they gather, look for bats emerging from their roosts to hunt and use bat detectors to identify them. We may also have a chance of spotting badgers out foraging. Then we will return to the traps to observe the diversity of moths we have caught. Event organised in partnership with Butterfly Conservation and Bat Conservation Trust.
