The University of Southampton Library and Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) are pleased to announce our 2nd Open Research Symposium, free to all. The symposium will take place virtually on the 7th July from 10am -12.30pm with the theme ‘Credit where credit is due’.

There will be short talks from expert guest speakers followed by panellist debate and Q&A session to discuss how to make the most of your research through its lifecycle and beyond publication:

• F1000, an Open Research publishing platform for scientists, scholars and clinicians

• Kudos, a service that helps researchers and their institutions and funders increase the visibility and impact of their publications

• Simon Kerridge, Director of Research Policy & Support at the University of Kent

• Steven Vidovic, Head of Open Research and Publication Practice at the University of Southampton

The event will be of interest to anyone looking to publish or interested in promoting their research more widely – from PGRs to ECRs to Emeritus Professors.

Registration will close at 10am on Monday 5th July.
