Steph Parker leads the business strategy team in BEIS responsible for developing policies to reduce business energy use by 20% by 2030. She will outline how government policy actually works, covering the role of Ministers and civil servants, interactions with other departments and key stages such as impact assessments, consultations and calls for evidence.

The webinar will focus particularly on how government uses research outputs, including key insights for academics on maximising their policy impact.
