Crewe Culture & Arts Network
Regular networking event in Crewe for all those involved in Arts, Culture & Heritage.
This month we are at the gorgeous Academy Restaurant at South Cheshire College.
There will be a keynote speaker, free networking time, and the opportunity for you to promote your local events.
There are so many wonderful arts, culture and heritage activities going on in Crewe, and behind the scenes are many hundreds of dedicated people working to provide the local community with events, services and products. Sometimes it can be isolating and we may forget how many others are out there doing similar and complementary things! The Vision for Crewe Working Group for Arts & Culture felt it was about time to start bringing people together to meet, share, collaborate and grow.
If you know anyone else who might be interested in attending Crewe CAN, please ask them to contact the organisers at email@example.com so they can be added to our mailing list.
Crewe CAN aims to provide opportunities for individuals and organisations involved in Arts, Culture & Heritage in Crewe to:
1. meet regularly to network, build relationships and develop collaborations
2. share relevant information and news
3. promote local events and activities
4. participate in and build local identity and local community
5. provide and seek peer support
6. provide or seek funding opportunities
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
South Cheshire College has a large car park, and is close to Nantwich Road which is served by various buses.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Contact Catherine by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, just give us your name on arrival.
Why do I have to book for a free event?
The venue has limited space so we want to ensure you get in! It is also useful to know who is coming so that we can tailor this event and future meetings. Plus in the unlikely event that we have to cancel, postpone or change any details of the meeting, we will be able to contact you.
Are there refreshments provided?
The college is kindly providing free refreshments for this event.
How often will these meetings happen?
We currently hold Crewe CAN meetings bi-monthly (i.e. every two months).
Is Crewe CAN on Facebook?
We have a Facebook Group at www.facebook.com/groups/cancancrewe/
What is Vision for Crewe?
Vision for Crewe is the name of the local Community Plan. See www.crewetowncouncil.gov.uk for more details.
