Event description

Description

To mark the second year of Bluebird Pictures' film festival and the celebatrion of communtiy and culture we are putting on a special screening of My Nappy Roots: A Journey Through Black Hair-itage, followed by networking and drinks (included)

It's an opportunity to learn more about the World Cinema Film Festial and how to submit, plus find some like-minded creatives to collaborate with.

My Nappy Roots is an American documentary that explores the history of black hair in the states. It is a documentary that is only screened with permission of the filmmakers herself, so we are inccredibly lucky to be showing this in January. We hope it will spark conversation and give an essence of the type of films we would like to be submitted for next year's WCFF.

Special guest photographer and director Olivia Rose will be doing a short Q&A
