Criminal Exploitation of Vulnerable Adults

Please note this training is for attendees in the HIPS (Hampshire) area, with a focus on Southampton. Information provided in this training may not be applicable to outside areas.

After attending this course, participants will:

• Understand what adult exploitation is and who is most vulnerable
• Identify the types of criminal offences linked to adult exploitation
• Understand what cuckooing is
• Know from case studies how it relates to real life cases
• Recognise the signs to look for
• Know what action to take if they suspect an adult is being exploited
• Understand where to go for more information or help
