What is a critical incident?

A critical incident is any incident that has the potential to cause crisis.

Is CRISIS a form of therapy?

No. CRISIS is a highly effective psychosocial model that doesn't involve clinical approaches, such as analysis or interpretation on the part of the facilitator.

Do I have to be a counsellor or psychotherapist to become a CRISIS facilitator?

Not at all. Because there is no analysis, interpretation or judgment, you are not required to be a counsellor or psychotherapist, although many therapists have become facilitators!
