Event description

Description

Between 25th June and 1st July, Australian artist Vic McEwan will be in residence at TATE Liverpool as part of their TATE Exchange programme, where he will be exhibiting and performing pieces of work as a direct response to his time in residence at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust. Over the last few years as a guest of Arts and Health Co-ordinator, Vicky Charnock and in collaboration with Arts for Health at MMU, Vic has spent time observing the acoustic environment of the hospital particularly thinking about noise and sound under the working title of The Harmonic Oscillator.

Critical Care is a free event on the 29th June starting at 13:00 and concluding at 15:30 will give people the opportunity to have an artist led tour of the exhibition, and hear from Vic and Clive about the work and its outcomes when they share a presentation around the process and the work that has been created. We very much hope that Vic will be able to give a short performance of work based on the hospital bed. More details will be added over the next few weeks.

Places are VERY LIMITED because of gallery capacity.
