Critical Mass: Removing structural barriers to Inclusion - BT
Overview
‘Removing structural barriers to Inclusion – our Family leave and Carers leave policies’
Join us for a powerful conversation on inclusive family and carers leave.
In the UK, women continue to shoulder the majority of caring responsibilities, a reality that contributes to inequalities in health, income, and career progression. In fact, women are significantly more likely to reduce working hours or pause careers to care for loved ones, with long-term impacts including a gender pension gap of £7,600 a year. [www.tuc.org.uk]
As part of BT’s modernisation journey, we’ve reimagined our family leave and carers policies to better reflect the lives of our people today. At this event, we’ll share what we’ve learned in designing and implementing inclusive policies and hear directly from colleagues about the real-life impact these changes have made.
Whether you're shaping policy, supporting carers, or simply curious about how inclusion drives change, we’d love to see you there.
Panel speakers will include: Frances Hunter, Senior Inclusion Partner alongside some of our brilliant people sharing their experiences of our family and carers leave policies.
