About this event

This Study Development workshop aims to build your critical thinking skills. What makes a source reliable or an argument convincing? How can we demonstrate a reasoned argument ourselves? We will explore these questions and bolster your critical thinking toolkit.

The workshop is designed to tackle one of the foundational skills you need for study at any level. Although it works well as a standalone workshop, it draws on strategies introduced in the previous workshop on Active Reading, and feeds into the next workshop on Critical Writing.

This workshop takes place online via Microsoft Teams. We will send you an invitation to join in advance of the session.
