Have you been told you need to be “more critical,” or that your essays are “too descriptive, and not analytical enough”? This workshop will help you to understand what is meant by critical thinking, and how to be more critical in your reading and writing.
This workshop is only for students studying in the School of Social, Historical, and Literary Studies (that is, students studying English Literature, History, Journalism, International Relations, Politics, or Sociology). Students studying other subjects should contact the Learning Development Tutors in their School or Faculty.
