Crochan Aur Bro Aberystwyth Participatory Budgeting (PB) Event 2020
Event Information
About this Event
The Police and Crime Commissioner together with Tai Wales & West Housing Association, Barcud Cymru & Aberystwyth Town Council are offering £14,500 to fund projects to improve and promote safeguarding opportunities in the community of Aberystwyth.
We hope to receive a number of bids and this is YOUR chance to vote for the projects that YOU believe will make a difference in improving opportunities for young adults and vulnerable. This could be in supporting local groups to assist in reducing and preventing crime such as Anti -Social Behaviour, to support victims or to support vulnerable members of our Aberystwyth community.
Any bids MUST have a connection to improving opportunities and community safeguarding.
The event will be held online via ZOOM. After each film from the bidders, YOU will be given an opportunity to vote on those that YOU think will improve and safeguard YOUR community.
The voting process will be explained at the start of the voting event, but essentially each person who registers will be allowed ONE vote per project and YOU MUST enter a vote for every project.
FAILURE TO VOTE FOR EVERY PROJECT WILL RESULT IN YOUR VOTES BEING CLASSED AS A "SPOILED" PAPER AND THEY WILL NOT BE COUNTED!
Those who register on Eventbrite, and match the registration criteria will be allowed to access the voting process. The link for the voting process will be shared with those who register before the event.
IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE
*The minimum age for bidders is 10, but those between the ages of 10-16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Adult must be the one to register online.
